River Ray ADCP attached to wooden frame is situated in the ice hole to measure velocity profile during the subdaily tidal cycle of the Onega river estuary (Arctic river in Russian Federation). Rio Grande ADCP is a reserve, attached to car inner tire. Laptop on the table powered with car inverter and battery. The scientific expedition of Lomonosov MSU was unique investigating winter tidal cycle in this region using modern equipment. Acoustic-doppler profilers strongly help measuring ice level movement up and down with tidal waves and the magnitude and direction of river velocity which changes from negative to positive during the cycle 2 times a day.
